What I Spent So I went to pull together my grocery spending for the week and I realized that it’s all quick trips to Safeway. I spent $63 at Safeway, spread out between an embarrassing number of trips. Sunday Leftover sandwiches; they’re great reheated in the toaster oven on the air-fryer setting.

But I would say I’m getting into a better groove of figuring out how to work meals around our college classes and Zoe’s work schedule. I spent: $147 at Sam’s Club $15 at Safeway $31 on a Hungry Harvest box Sooo, $193 for me this week. Monday I picked up a rotisserie chicken from Safeway.

I spent: $15 at Target (for two bags of Starbucks coffee) $30 on a Hungry Harvest box $51 at Sam’s Club $17 at Safeway So, $113. What We Ate Saturday Zoe was at work, and I went up to visit my friend with the broken foot. and then I went home and made an alfredo sauce for pasta, with some kale and leftover ham mixed in.

What I Spent I spent: $30 on a Hungry Harvest box $34 at Safeway $15 on fried chicken So, $79 for me. And Zoe picked up some dinner on the way home from work. Monday I had a free frozen pizza from Safeway sitting in my chest freezer, so that’s what we ate! But here in Frugal Girl world, it’s business as usual.

This week, I spent: $25 at Safeway $45 on a Dinnerly box So, $70. I don’t really measure anything anymore when I make it; I eyeball pretty much everything about it, which works nicely when you have squashes of varying proportions. And then I worked on homework while intermittently answering the door and handing out candy.

I spent: $32 at Aldi $8 at Safeway $17.50 Zoe got off of work at 8:30 so she just got a fast food chicken sandwich. Tuesday I sauteed some ham from the freezer, then sauteed some chopped kale, then added in leftover mac and cheese plus some milk and cream. Let’s see. at Lidl $12 at Dominos So, $69.50 for me this week.

I spent: $20 at Five Guys $30 on a Hungry Harvest box $41 at Safeway So, that makes $91 for me this week. What We Ate Saturday Leftover chipotle chicken on a salad. And it works equally well with chicken breasts as it does with chicken thighs. Because I was definitely doing some fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants things this week.
