If you have china that is past the point of usefulness, broken or severely cracked, break it some more to create mosaic tiles for other craft projects. Cover thrift store finds such as boxes and crates with dish shards for an awesome magazine rack. These are great conversation pieces and are on target for office party gifts.

I use old casual office clothes to work around the house. I have a closet full of work clothes I wore to the office for 20 years, mostly casual slacks and blouses. I just can’t see the point in running it partially empty. One of them even has a hole in it, but hey, it is here and it still keeps the lacquer in its place.
