For the store brand! Even more surprising: Safeway had a special where if you bought four boxes of their store-brand plain shredded wheat, they were only $1.99 I saved some bread odds and ends I had a couple of bagels, two partial packages of buns, and a partial loaf of bread that were all getting a little dry.

I mean, people who classify themselves as ingredient households are still buying pasta, cereal, bread, mayo, peanut butter, and so on. We will make a dinner that includes dried pasta, a sauce based on canned tomatoes, topped with a sprinkle of store-bought Parmesan cheese and still consider that a from-scratch meal.

You can pick up fun things like these ring pops or Valentine head boppers or glasses at your local dollar store. These glasses Eric has on are actually blue, which you can see in other pics, but somehow came out green in the pics where he's wearing them. Mine are pink, but almost disappeared in pictures.
