Monday Q&A | Sweets, Energy, and Frugal Single Living
You do all the usual stuff to keep a family going plus refinish furniture, bake from scratch, sew, bless lots of people with photography, blog, homeschool, make freezer jam, devotional time, etc. When I go grocery shopping, I can’t imagine taking cute pictures of my groceries every week and then putting it up. Monday Q&A | Camera-Carrying, Reading, and Freezer Cooking
Before I got my new camera body, I was a little bit hesitant to take my SLR with me to places like the grocery store, but now that my Rebel body is my backup and not my main camera, I feel more comfy hauling it around with me. Want to lower your grocery bill??
When I left my job last year, the first challenge I faced was how to lower our grocery bill. Now I look back, and it almost makes me sick to think about how much money we were wasting every week at the grocery store. This is the worse thing you can do when you go grocery shopping. We spent around $150 a week.

Before you even think about buying groceries, make sure you have an organized storage system. chest freezer is also a wise investment, as you can buy meat and frozen goods when they’re on sale and store them for later. Never attempt to navigate a grocery store without a list.

Grocery Spending/Menu Plan | Busy Day Edition
If you follow me on Facebook, you know that I put off grocery shopping until mid-afternoon this week, and so all six of us headed out to shop together after Mr. That small pile of groceries cost $26 (!), Maybe this local food thing is going to require an increase in my grocery budget. Making crackers, eating through the freezer, and generally being odd
So I’ve been challenging myself to eat through my pantry and freezer. I’m waiting to go shopping until my next garden fresh box arrives at the community centre.
