As long as we buy them from an authorized source, we can get a guarantee as well. We bought a lot of our son’s onesies and other items (including a crib) at a consignment shop. We were able to get a great deal on older couches that were very well-built. We’ve bought used video games as well. Baby Items.

I can park my car and walk from sale to sale, getting a bit of exercise, enjoying the fine weather and seeing the architecture and landscaping of the homes along the way. I also occasionally get to encourage young entrepreneurs by purchasing their wares (usually soda or lemonade but sometimes more ambitions products as well).

If you are like most parents, you want to raise your children well – to develop their mental and physical aspects completely. Garage sales – I found a guitar for $5.00 once at a garage sale and bought it for my grandson. We rented our son’s alto saxophone while he took lessons in high school.

My son recently became very interested in Star Wars, so we threw him a Star Wars-themed party for his birthday this year! That meant I had to be pretty creative for my son’s party. I had three baby showers when I was pregnant for my son–one from each side of the family and one from my co-workers. Many of the other items I needed like cloth diapers and clothes for the baby in bigger sizes I bought from garage sales. There was very little I had to buy for my child after these showers.
