This week, I am thankful: for kind people who let us borrow space heaters I already had one from my Buy Nothing group, but I also got to borrow one from my landlord and two from neighbors. Anyway…I’m gonna find the good in a not-that-fantastic situation. I’m pretty sure a crabby attitude would have surfaced around day two.

Not everyone is cut out to be a landlord or landlady. However, we have not been able to claim that loss due to the overly complex and landlord unfriendly income tax laws we now have. At least that is they way I interpret the following advice from the IRS - which may be out of date as this was published in 2004 – 10 years ago.
