I still enjoy setting goals, but knowing I'll be in school full time from the end of January-May, then again from September-December, I'm keeping my goals simple-ish. This year I'll be doing the 2012 in 2012. This year I'll be doing the 2012 in 2012. I would like to read 10 books of my choice.

It's been quite a year; I have a total of four jobs (one full time, three part time) and am beginning to make a dent in my student loan debt. By the end of this year, I will have increased my income by over 70% (compared to my one full time job). Now, going forward, what are my goals for 2012 ?

2012 My Year in Review

Well, 2012 was a very bad year for my family. Even though I didn't meet most the goals I set out to accomplish, I'm not disappointed. But anyway, this is how I did: Save $1,500 by using coupons and $3,500 by shopping sales: I spent 9 out of the last 12 months being a full time Honors college student, I didn't have much time to coupon.

Happy New Year!

With that said, here are my goals for 2011: Attempt to double my income (from roughly $40,000 from the day job to $80,000 including all of my part time and full time income. We'll see how things go; I'm definitely committed to following through with my goals, and though they seem rather daunting at this stage.

A mid-year update.

My goal is to pay my loans down to $20,000 by the end of the year (an ambitious goal, for sure) so in January I can sell my stock and pay it all off once and for all! My student loans are now down to $39,071 !!!! I started the year at around $49,300 so I think I'm doing well for being five months into the year.
