I pick up a lot of them at garage sales for 25 cents to a $1. It caught me by surprise that the stocks/mutual funds in which I invested while in the 401K could not be transferred in kind to my IRA. Unfortunately, I was doing this from 2010 through 2013, part of the longest bull run we’ve had in the US recently.
