Our goal is to NOT put our Christmas purchases on a credit card. Hopefully, that’s your goal too. We set aside money each month throughout the year for gift spending, but that wasn’t always the case. We paid for many of our Christmas purchases on a credit card and then hustled in January 2013 to pay it off.

Once you have a gift budget for 2013 that you are comfortable with, divide that number by eleven. That final number will be your goal to save each month between now and November 25, 2013.
