Back in January I introduced the 2014 Grocery Budget Challenge. I really wanted to reduce our grocery spending for my family of 4 from the average of $634 a month in 2013 to a budget of $450 a month in 2014. There is nothing worse than a family revolting in the kitchen. And that is money in the bank.

On the 25th of every month from January to November in 2013, I''m holding a virtual meeting for the Christmas Savings Club. I''m happy to report that I was able to reduce our grocery spending in August by about $50 and I''ll put that money in our Christmas savings. Happy 4 months til Christmas!
