In October 2003, I left a career as a department store buyer with a nice paycheck, paid vacation days, 401k match, profit sharing, and health benefits, to pursue a life of self employment with my husband where all of those things are up to us. After much thought, we decided on the cheaper plan and subscribed to an Aetna HMO for 2016.
