This week I am thankful: for my new set of highlighters Previously, I was in possession of a single yellow highlighter, from the abandoned house. for a job that is so flexible I just could not make it work to get out a blog post yesterday, and the wonderful thing about blogging is that it is ok to miss a day here and there.

No surprise there; I write a blog about family life and finances. After 20 years, I switched from Quicken software to You Need a Budget (YNAB) software in 2018 for our household. Thank you, Susan! I realized my role in our family was not just of a wife, mother, and homemaker, but also the Family Office Manager (FOM).

They seem to be everywhere on Facebook, blogs, radio shows, and websites. The notes consisted of business loans and my husband’s student loan and we are projecting to be done in 2018. In 2017, we are committed to paying off the next loan, and by the end of 2018, we will pay off our final non-mortgage loan.
