In previous years, I would create a long list of financial goals, only to have little accomplished by the end of the December. I almost stopped writing goals down altogether. In 2018, we decided to focus on just 2 main financial goals and before I share my 2019 goals I thought I would give you a recap on 2018.

After 20 years, I switched from Quicken software to You Need a Budget (YNAB) software in 2018 for our household. There’s a yearly fee and a learning curve, but I love YNAB and it helps me stay on budget and financially organized with our day-to-day checking and savings accounts. Organize paperwork for tax preparation.
