Hello, 2020. Right before the pandemic started, I opened 529 College Savings Accounts for our daughters. My oldest was in eighth grade and one of my goals for 2020 was to start saving consistently for both daughters’ college education. But my point of this post is not to discuss the pandemic.

We received a $300 reimbursement from our Aflac supplemental policy for an injury my daughter sustained at volleyball in the fall. This money gets sent automatically to the 529 accounts we set up for our girls in 2020. I started searching and test drove a pre-owned Highlander in January 2020.

In 2020, our financial goals were to read, research, and understand both college and retirement planning. …enter 2023 We have not one, but two teenage high school daughters. We want to assist our daughters with their college expenses. We have a number that we want to save for each daughter.

In January 2020, we booked round-trip flights to Paris for the four of us. My daughter outgrew the set and we put the money towards a new set for her. I had an unexpected surprise hit my credit card in February. Honestly, it was months in the making, but at one time, I didn’t think I would ever see the money. Ibotta: $24.75.

In the hectic season of life that I am in right now of mothering 2 daughters (1 teenager and 1 tween), owning 2 businesses with my husband, and running our home, my planner needs to hold it all together for me to stay on task. This year I went back to a Daily/Monthly layout after using a Monthly/Daily for 2020. The same is true today.

And I was pregnant with our youngest daughter, so what should have been a joyous year was quite a stressful one. January & February 2020 – Life is good! March 2020 arrived. It’s scary to think about where we would be if we hadn’t worked our plan and made the sacrifices prior to March 2020.

My daughter completed the college program , a professional internship, and then went on to work on the conservation team at Animal Kingdom. Depending on traffic, it took my daughter 15 – 25 minutes to get to work. My daughter lived at Chatham Square! A non-refundable housing fee of $150 (as of March 2020) in paid advance.
