31 Days to Slash your Grocery Spending. Don’t be afraid of the clearance section at the grocery store. I regularly find produce, meat, dairy, eggs, baked goods, and dry goods marked down at 40% – 50% off or more. At my main grocery store, all of the clearance is marked with bright yellow stickers.
