With this, you pick a set dollar amount to invest each period, divide it in half and put half in your chosen investment, and the other half into a money market or bank account. Depositing part of your check in the bank for savings before you spend it on anything else. Otherwise it was too boring, too labor intensive and too time consuming to do.
