We lived off my salary and banked Alan’s even before we were married so that we could build our own house (literally), paying cash as we went. This is the first year I started a Disney/vacation savings account of $25 a week. 350 in fuel costs. My advice is to not add this to your online banking. Seeing it any time you login to your account would be a constant reminder. Right before our trip, I take it all to the bank and get large bills.
