Our gas and electric bills have been smaller since we moved. This translates into lower bills each month, and you are even more sustainable. This has led to a smaller grocery bill, even though food costs more out here. The result has been that we have been able to support locally-grown food, on top of saving money on our bill.

We started by categorizing our bills and spending into groups, such as housing and transportation. We wanted to see where we were spending most of our money, and whether there is any opportunity for us to cut down on any of those bills as a result of the combination of our finances. It has great fuel economy, at about 40 MPG.
