While the cost of living in our new town in Pennsylvania is higher than we experienced in Utah, we are actually saving money each month due to downsizing. Our gas and electric bills have been smaller since we moved. This translates into lower bills each month, and you are even more sustainable.

We started by categorizing our bills and spending into groups, such as housing and transportation. We then looked at how much each item in that group cost us; gas, property and car insurance, maintenance, etc. 400/month gas for truck. 130/month gas for car. Money Tips' 187/month car insurance.
