If I can’t get the item online, then I check with my local library to see if they have it for sign out. This time can be used towards other projects and to do lists you have on the go. Stop paying for cable.

Most of us did not have air conditioned homes. People opened their windows and used attic fans or sat in metal lawn chairs outside to cool off. Most of us did not have clothes dryers, we dried the clothes on a line outside. Some of us did not have central heat. There were no dishwashers (other than us kids!).

Today a poor person in America probably has access to electricity, telephones, food, indoor plumbing, central heat and public transportation. Until, that is, she went out to the ‘library’ with her book one day, sat on the outdoor privy and got stung on the bottom by a bee! Poverty aids the imagination. Inconvenient!
