I’ve been working behind the scenes on a tool that I personally use to track and organize our finances: Family Budget Spreadsheets. This blog was based on my very first spreadsheet, the Family Balance Sheet. One January, we received a very large credit card bill in the mail. This is a 12 month spreadsheet.

I enjoy blogging and biking, and I usually cycle between 15 and 20 miles a day indoors when I’m not getting out to hit a bike trail. I author a blog to document our adventures ( Reflections Around the Campfire ) because I enjoy creative writing and because I wanted a permanent record of our travels, especially for our kids. Go figure.
