A lot of us frequent garage sales. But once you have made your millions – would you still go garage sale-ing? Why would a millionaire want to continue to shop at garage sales? Garage sales are one of the few USA venues where negotiation on the price of goods to be bought is expected.

Are you a ‘buy it new’ snob – one of those people who shudder at the thought of using someone else’s cast off stuff? After 10 years of not having enough money to buy new things, I found my dream job and started getting high pay. I paid hundreds for a slightly better model at Best Buy years ago.

Because just deciding to have a business, or buy a bunch of empty toothpaste tubes to fill (or whatever the decision might be), doesn’t mean that you will actually make any money, I knew that I needed the winner to have to meet a certain profit goal. He decides that he can make toothpaste much cheaper. Play test the game.

As a hobby. Home decorating is another area where it may be possible to sew your own cheaper than buying. Easy deal and much cheaper than buying drapes at the time. Today it is much less expensive to buy your clothes, even if you buy brand new and certainly if you shop some of the chic re-sale shops or even the thrift stores.

This was hubby’s hobby, but I thought maybe we could sell the birds (quail is good eating!). I’ve always loved going to sales – garage sales, estate sales, auctions, moving sales – no matter. To be successful, I think you need access to free or really cheap bulk sale items.

What are your hobbies? Daniel can work anywhere there is an internet connection and the kids can homeschool anywhere, but we didn’t have the money to buy the plane tickets or book AirBnB apartments. We sold extra items that we weren’t using through Craigslist and garage sales. Tell us about you and your family.

However, she enjoyed her hobby immensely and kept right on collecting things of interest to her. Like anything else, you make your money when you buy, not when you sell. Buy pieces only in great condition. That same person may troll neighborhood garage sales and offer to cart away anything left after the sale for free.
