My sunglasses broke in my purse and my eyes are very sensitive to the sun especially with white snow on the ground, and thankfully, I found a cute pair on clearance for $5. April Update: I made 3 new purchases in April: I bought a pair of Teva flip flops from the clearance rack at DSW and two t-shirts at BJ’s Warehouse store. Can I find what I need at a second hand or thrift store? Start keeping a list of needs with you for your thrift store trips.

Just as I was done shopping when I chanced upon this awesome deal – Ugly Christmas Sweater were a part of the clearance deals and discounted 90%! This is even cheaper than what you would pay at a thrift store (that too a brand new one)! (I I didn’t waste a minute and grabbed 2 of them for ONLY $2.49 ea (reg $24.99).

While I like to shop at thrift stores, I have a hard time finding TALL length jeans for my 5’10 frame and I was in need of new jeans. However, at the register, the shoes rang up at $29.99–there was an additional mark down on clearance! I went back to the register and left the store paying $20.14
