After renting an office for 12 years, we had nothing to show for it and the space was starting to feel a bit cramped. On top of our normal day to day expenses, the new property taxes were due, we had more ownership expenses than we realized, and we had a family to feed. We are communicating regularly.

As the Family Office Manager , I handle the day-to-day finances for our family and I needed a way to communicate our finances to my husband. Our small business was going well, so we said so long to renting office space and purchased a commercial property in the summer of 2012. I still use my spreadsheet to this day!
