Save power – replace the old incandescent light bulbs with the new CFLs; replace halogens with the new LEDs; turn the lights of after hours; turn off the lights in seldom used rooms such as store rooms; turn off the air conditioning after hours. This saves power, cuts electricity bills and does not affect the comfort of the workers.

Most people have computers these days and an email account, so send out digital invitations, to save on paper, ink and postage. If you really want to send out paper invitations, use recycled or handmade paper and use a single sheet. Print them yourself to save money. Invitations. Theme and Decorations.

Apart from the obvious ones like cars and other vehicles, there is a plethora of tools, appliances, phones, watches, cameras, computers, toys and gadgets that are battery powered. Rechargeable batteries on the other hand, can be recharged and reused up to 500 times, extending their life considerably. I find that really annoying!
