My husband is an extremely hard worker as he works and goes to school full time. The rule was, if I could get $50 bucks or more for it, it was going on Craigslist. It was the first time we consistently told ourselves NO to purchases. We tried our best to stretch the food budget. We sold EVERYTHING!

It was like 40 feet away from me and I watched the entire thing. I took on extra work outside of my full-time accounting job. I also downsized my lifestyle and sold extra furniture, clothes, and jewelry, on Craigslist. I could barely afford my $600 rent payment, which was in a horrible neighborhood.
