Our secondary “why” is to have the funds to pay in full for our yearly vacation since we’ve acquired a love for river cruising. Note from Kristen: I didn’t know what river cruising was, so I googled! I learned to educate myself about all money matters before making a rash decision. Boy, did that hurt!

I also love to visit family (all our family is between 2 and 4 hours away) and friends, bake, and play board games. I would like to pursue higher education in some way, maybe a History PhD, or a library science degree? My college education. Our dog I don’t plan to fully retire, either. I haven’t decided yet.

We celebrated both occasions with a family cruise that we paid for with cash. During our debt payoff mode, we camped and went on beach trips with extended family, but never left the country…honestly, we never left the east coast. . | Once Non-Mortgage Debts are paid, cash flow a FAMILY TRIP TO DISNEY. Brain dump!

For many years, this man’s wife and family lived near poverty after the Grandfather died of this disease. We have a family cemetery in which I hope both my spouse and I are buried. One of my great-uncles on my Mother’s side of the family bought enough plots years ago for all of my Grandmother’s side of the family.
