It is a part of the human condition and I have a theory that we each have a life cycle of stuff and that it goes full circle, from no stuff back to no stuff. That life cycle of stuff is something we need, is natural and beneficial – never something about which to feel guilty. What is the life cycle of stuff? You get stuff.

Sales come in cycles and you should definitely buy a few months worth of the items your family will use or eat, but there’s no need to buy more than that. I am also able to donate on a regular basis, even with my relatively small stockpile. They are not quite as common, but nutritious deals are definitely available.
