The first few years after graduating, I racked up a large credit card debt and bought a new SUV that cost approximately the same as my annual salary. We share our home with a 70lb rescued mutt.

But, at least I graduated without debt. My son won his 4 year degree in Economics and then was able to get a job as a security guard at a retail store!

Our daughter is 24 and was adopted from Eastern Europe when she was one week short of a year old. Our son is 29 and biological.
