As I reflect back to January 2016, I started that year pretty determined to pay off the balance of our non-mortgage debts. Unfortunately, we did not hit that goal and in part, have made some major changes to our Debt Freedom Plan. I’ve been teaching part time for over 25 years. I like to bake and read, and I spend time chauffeuring kids to activities and games. I volunteer at my kids’ school at lunch time and other events. He is also thrifty and is much better at budgeting than I. Here’s MB: 1. That is priceless.

Outside of my blogging life, I work full time as a magazine editor/designer for a large national company and I also teach part-time at a local University.
