Eat lunch at the fancy place - Did you want to eat at a fancy restaurant? Then make your reservations for lunch instead of dinner if you can. Sometimes the price for lunch can be as much as half the cost of dinner and often they have the same dishes. Just don't do this in places where it is rude to tip, like Japan.

LOOKA Patisserie is a retail division of the French Patisserie and offers retail customers an upscale, gourmet alternative to current desserts in the freezer. Nicole’s take: I love dessert and these Looka Patisserie frozen desserts have been calling my name from my Walmart’s freezer for months!

We packed our lunch, and ate dinner with the troop at the hotel. We dined on pizza, carrots and dip, and Girl Scout cookies for dessert. We ate breakfast at the hotel in Corning, and we had dinner on the patio of the Top of the Falls restaurant. We ate lunch and dinner on the road.

Opt for Lunch Specials. Midweek lunch specials are a great way to enjoy dining out without the night and weekend pricing. Save the Drinks for Dessert. Once you’re settled back home or in your hotel, enjoy a nightcap without the restaurant mark up. Save Dessert for Dessert. Go for Happy Hour.

Located inside the Grand Floridian Hotel (Disney’s Flagship resort), it’s an elegant, yet casual full-service restaurant. I usually forgo dessert but am a sucker for dark chocolate! The Grand Floridian Cafe truly is a hidden gem! Even our waiter said he wished they’d get rid of it because so few guests like it.

It is amazing, $45 a person at night or $30 a person at lunch, and we go once a year on my birthday at the end of December usually. I kicked off the weekend on Friday with free pasta, free pizza, more free pizza and soda, and an evening of free desserts. Saturday was all about pastries, corn bread, fajitas, and pizza again too.
