I planted a small garden this year: 2 tomato plants, 1 cucumber, 1 pepper plant that sadly didn’t make it, and 1 butternut squash. Plasma donation: $47.

Our financial goals are still important to us and we want to hit them regardless of the rising prices. Homemade Basil and Walnut Pesto: I made my second batch of homemade pesto from my two garden basil plants. Plasma Donations: $420. I earned $420 from 5 donations and a $50 bonus in the month of July. For starters, I didn’t donate plasma this month and that is usually my biggest source of extra cash. I’m always looking for ways to save my family money to not only help us get through current higher food and gas prices but also to help us achieve our big financial goals. SET GOALS Encourage your child to make a list of things they want to do or accomplish with their extra time. Serve food at a local soup kitchen or help at a community garden, or donate clothing, food, or toys. This will help “reset” their brain and prevent tech overload. Take Time For Others Make time for acts of service.
