I’m always looking for ways to save my family money to help us get through current higher food and gas prices and achieve our big financial goals. My husband also cleaned our gas fireplace and turned on the pilot light. I donated the pop-tarts to a food pantry and I’ll save the apple pie for Thanksgiving.

I wanted to quick post this because I wanted to show you that you don’t have to have a 30 gallon tank or use gas jugs to make gas deals worth it. I have seen/heard so many overlook gas deals because they have small cars or tanks. Anyway, I am putting gas in my car anyway, if you own a car – I am guessing you do to.

For starters, I didn’t donate plasma this month and that is usually my biggest source of extra cash.
