However, we could use a year of extra thriftiness to find any extra funds to accelerate the $10k. We will need to cut back on dining out, but it is unrealistic for me to say we won’t eat at restaurants this year. The Guidelines for 2018: 1. Be Exceptionally Frugal. Non-necessities might take a back seat–for this year.
