I have made a pact with myself that if I don’t already own something that I need, I will either: make do with what I have, find said item at a thrift store, borrow, or forget about it. We have some home projects that we need to do and we have already set aside the funds. I think I’ll survive. Choose Thrift First.

I want to challenge myself to rethink our purchases by taking advantage of more cost effective solutions, like borrowing, buying second hand, or just making do with what we already have. We will need to cut back on dining out, but it is unrealistic for me to say we won’t eat at restaurants this year. Choose Thrift First.
