We knew that I would likely not be working full time much longer as we wanted to start a family, so we chose a house that was in a low price range and got a 15-year mortgage. I would probably add it to our savings account for house projects. What’s your best frugal win? That is a never-ending list!

A third “why” is that saving money is like a game to me. I enjoy playing the game and I like to win. My biggest financial regret is the amount of money we spent on restaurant meals from the time we were married and both working full time to when we had kids. He’s a cheap date – but then, so am I.
