Years ago, Mom introduced me to the idea of going to garage sales. People sell the darnedest things at their garage sales. Garage sales take time, you have to hit quite a few before you find the item you want or need. I look for the neighborhood sales, which are usually either in spring or fall.

The list doesn’t have to be organized yet, because the idea is to just get everything down. Organize The List. After making the list, organize it into sub topics. Organize the list that you just made into subtopics which will make the list easier to read. Start With The Easy Stuff.

I painted it and added some fun baskets to it for organizing as well. The picnic basket in the middle was an estate sale find and the little one on top.came from a garage sale. Do you use baskets to organize your house? Do you see the Baker's Rack in the picture too? They fit perfectly in the small basket!

I have a soft spot for good sales, whether they be at the local retail store (I bought way too many Gymboree shirts for my daughter when they were on sale for $3.99) or at a garage sale. If something is cheap at a garage sale, I may buy it even if I’m not sure that I’ll use it. Get Organized'
