Eventually, when I was married and working at a library I ordered my own copy of the Complete Tightwad Gazette–and I still have it!

When my brother and I were growing up, our parents didn’t have much discretionary income. Campsites are cheaper than hotel rooms, and because we can carry our own food with us, we don’t spend as much on restaurant meals.
