I’ve been an architect, day-care teacher to toddlers, and library clerk, but am currently a SAHM to a 14yo son and 9yo daughter. After I had kids, I swapped that time to growing all sorts of interesting heirloom foods in my backyard. Another big win would be taking advantage of our great public library system.

Growing up in the 1950?s

Growing up in the fifties made me everlastingly grateful for a number of things, such as hot running water, central air conditioning, automatic dishwashers, TV remote control, the internet, personal computers (typewriters really sucked – no backspacing!) There was no CNBC with constant market and news. Weather prediction was terrible.
