Mia insisted on taking me out for dinner that night, so we got a little dressed up and went to a waterfront restaurant. Tuesday I got out some leftover Christmas ham from the freezer and Zoe and I ate that with some baked apples, plus some leftover rolls. Friday We have leftover pizza so that will be the easy button for tonight.

She was feeling kinda sad and isolated since she can’t drive; I took her out to a little Mexican restaurant near where she lives, and then she treated us both to a massage, since she had a gift card. and then I went home and made an alfredo sauce for pasta, with some kale and leftover ham mixed in. unbaked, obviously!

What We Ate Saturday After leaving the beach, we went to a place called Stix Asian, which is sorta like a food court made up entirely of various Asian restaurants. Thursday Leftover tacos. I will be frugal on food when we get home, but notttttt this week. ? I’ll be back to walking in brown and gray surroundings next week. ?

I know there are a lot of Americans who try their best to only dine at restaurants they recognize when they vacation, and that's very odd to me. At the very least, and most of what we do, is to bring back leftovers and eat those instead of going out for another meal. We've found a lot of cool restaurants this way.
