I love glass containers for food storage at home, largely because they are see-through. I turned it inside out, used some matching thread from my sewing box, and closed up the hole. Sometimes it helps to go somewhere else to get schoolwork done anyway; at Starbucks, I can’t decide to paint or fold laundry or wash dishes. ?

If you are looking for a can of spray paint you used last summer, you are more likely to look somewhere that you have other cans of paint stored. So, store your paint together with your paint brushes, paint thinner, paint stir stickes, rollers and etc to find them easier later.

Empty coffee cans are great for holding paint or turpentine or bacon grease. Zip lock bags are routinely washed and used again for food (or other) storage. Plastic bags are used as trash can liners, food carriers on trips, package stuffing for shipping and re-wrapping precious Christmas keepsakes for storage.
