Aside from a health concern with one of my daughters , 2017 was a great year, however, I was distracted by non-necessities, so my overall theme for 2018 is to use my time more wisely on the people and things that are important to me. I’ll update you on my family’s financial goals for 2018 in another post.

We generally don’t have a lot of medical bills–just the usual stuff like annual physicals, some blood work, and an occasional sick visit. He examined our daughter and immediately set up a procedure under anesthesia for Friday morning. I spent the next two hours on the phone with the doctors and with Medi-Share.

We hit our Annual Household Portion (think: deductible) with this medical event and our medical bills started to be paid by the other members’ shares. After that first update we thought our daughter was in the clear and our medical drama was behind us. A recap of our medical bills for 2017.
