In previous years, I would create a long list of financial goals, only to have little accomplished by the end of the December. I almost stopped writing goals down altogether. In 2018, we decided to focus on just 2 main financial goals and before I share my 2019 goals I thought I would give you a recap on 2018.

Did you make 2018 financial goals ? My husband and I discussed some ideas over our holiday break and we decided on 2 solid must-achieve financial goals for the year. If we complete them early, we’ll move on to 2 additional goals that are on our radar. Shame on us for dragging our feet on this for too long.

Last year, to make a little extra cash, I started boarding dogs through Rover, and I am about to start a very very part time job using my RN license for a home care company. I think I started reading FG regularly in 2018 or 2019. and realized we should pay off this debt as quickly as possible. canned peaches = summer in a jar 2.

We think we’ll use the money towards summer vacation. We would have used this sectional in our basement, but it’s too big to get through the basement door. I said goodbye to mini-van life in January when we traded in our 2007 Honda Odyssey for a 2018 Toyota Highlander. We…took out a car loan.

My new mission was to manage our money to make sure we used it wisely and stretched it as far as possible. After 20 years, I switched from Quicken software to You Need a Budget (YNAB) software in 2018 for our household. Implement our Debt Freedom Plan. Create our family’s financial goals and Debt Freedom Plan.

I want to reduce our debt by paying off our last non-mortgage loan. . Our main financial goal is to pay off our last non-mortgage loan. It was a goal in 2018, but high medical bills and other financial challenges hindered our progress. I ran my 10th half marathon in 2018 and have 2 more races planned for 2019.
