Everyone who rocks goals talks about accountability, so this year I’m sharing a few top personal goals that I made for myself and I’ll update you throughout the year on my progress. My monthly savings goal was $100. This should cover my tentative 2019 Christmas budget that I based on what we spent in 2018. In October , I found the money from an insurance refund and from the sale of our pop-up camper. I challenged myself to find the cash outside of our budget.

Our 2017 Debt Freedom Plan Update

Unfortunately, we did not hit that goal and in part, have made some major changes to our Debt Freedom Plan. We will apply half of our debt snowball amount to the home equity loan and it should be paid off by October 2017. The student loan should be paid off by the end of 2018. Our goal is still debt freedom.
