2017 was a great year, but for some reason I did not create personal goals for myself last January. Everyone who rocks goals talks about accountability, so this year I’m sharing a few top personal goals that I made for myself and I’ll update you throughout the year on my progress. These are just my personal goals.

My monthly goal is $100. This should cover my tentative 2019 Christmas budget that I based on what we spent in 2018. My monthly goal is $100. This should cover my tentative 2019 Christmas budget that I based on what we spent in 2018. October Assignments: We are in the home stretch! If you came up short prior to September, find your monthly savings goal for October and any shortfall from February – September.

My monthly savings goal was $100. This should cover my tentative 2019 Christmas budget that I based on what we spent in 2018. In October , I found the money from an insurance refund and from the sale of our pop-up camper. I challenged myself to find the cash outside of our budget.

A lot of life happened over 7 years and our plan changed slightly, but our goal remains to achieve complete freedom from debt. 2018 Update. Our 2019 Financial Goal. We can now move on to other financial goals. Our Debt Freedom Plan (October 2019 Update): Exact numbers have been omitted at this time.

Unfortunately, we did not hit that goal and in part, have made some major changes to our Debt Freedom Plan. We will apply half of our debt snowball amount to the home equity loan and it should be paid off by October 2017. The student loan should be paid off by the end of 2018. Our goal is still debt freedom.
