Everyone who rocks goals talks about accountability, so this year I’m sharing a few top personal goals that I made for myself and I’ll update you throughout the year on my progress. My monthly goal is $100. This should cover my tentative 2019 Christmas budget that I based on what we spent in 2018. In March, I added $70 in $1 bills that I had been setting aside for the past year. In July, I found $20 bill on the beach while camping, and other $80 came out of our monthly budget.

2019 Debt Freedom Plan Update

We ran the numbers of the purchase and they looked great on paper, but paper doesn’t account for a new server, a roof leak, unexpected medical bills, and other calamities. A lot of life happened over 7 years and our plan changed slightly, but our goal remains to achieve complete freedom from debt. 2018 Update.

Our 2017 Debt Freedom Plan Update

Unfortunately, we did not hit that goal and in part, have made some major changes to our Debt Freedom Plan. Our bills and responsibilities didn’t waiver however, even though our income dipped. We will apply half of our debt snowball amount to the home equity loan and it should be paid off by October 2017.
