Our emergency fund. I am totally paraphrasing the year, but had it not been for the money in our emergency savings, we would most likely have used credit cards to survive. We reduced our spending where we could, but the money to pay any shortfall each month came from our emergency fund. It kept me up at night.

If nothing changes, this loan will be paid off by end of 2019, but I’d love to move that up and say adios to this loan! We bought a used pop-up several years ago and it was one of the best decisions for our family We absolutely adore camping, and we’d like to upgrade to a travel trailer. The PA governor has shut down all non-essential businesses indefinitely and we’ve now been ordered to stay at home unless traveling to essential jobs, needed supplies, or outdoor exercise as long as we practice social distancing. I have written often about the importance of an emergency fund. Post-coronavirus, not so much!
