We do put up decorations (ones I buy at garage sales or thrift stores and reuse each year). Tip # 2 Recycle/reuse costumes. Encourage your child to use their imaginations to come up with a costume out of materials on hand at home. Like me, buy them used and then reuse them each year. Don’t buy, make.

I rounded up all the things I normally use at home. Before I got TSA PreCheck, I was tired of having half a tube of mini toothpaste with me when I got home and not wanting to take two with me on the next trip, so I wasn't wasting that half tube, so I started using toothpaste tabs. You want to look good in pics.

Everything in that lunch bag can be washed and reused or at least an be dealt with in an environmentally-friendly manner. For example, most leftover food scraps can even be composted ( other than meat, of course ) so they can be brought home if a school or workplace doesn’t do composting. It’s quite simple, really.
