I bake the boats in the oven. It’s a great time to stock up on turkeys, hams, baking supplies, potatoes, canned goods and so much more. Maybe even pick up a few extra to donate to the local food banks. Our mission: Live WELL, On LESS Money. What We Ate this Week: Monday: Taco boats. Wednesday : Spaghetti night.

On your counter or kitchen table, sort your food by category, such as: beverages, baking supplies, canned goods, boxed goods, breakfast foods, condiments, pasta/rice, snacks, etc. Store all of the baking supplies near your mixer. Frugal Kitchen in November: I stocked up on enough baking supplies at Wegman’s that should get us through most of 2021. We decided to donate the turkey to the food bank. It wasn’t all about me in November, I have a teenager and soon-to-be teenager and they both want clothes for Christmas.

Easter is four days away and I can smell my mom's baked ham now. I'll bake the ham and freeze for future meals. I stock up my freezer, pantry and I like to buy extra to donate to the food bank. Christmas is also a good time to buy turkeys, hams and baking ingredients. lb, that is less than half price.

Sort food items by category, such as baking items, breakfast, canned goods, coffee/tea, condiments, pasta/rice, snacks, etc. My coffee is stored right by the machine and all of my baking supplies are stored right above the counter where I use my mixer. Donate any food that you probably won’t eat and is not outdated to a food bank.

My hobbies range from reading to painting, pen-and-ink drawing, cooking/baking, and writing. I have a rule now that if I want to buy a book, I need to donate one. My grandpa would shoot squirrels when they needed meat, and they had a big garden and my grandmother baked her own bread. We rent now and are much happier.
