The Frugal Girl

I picked up a sushi burrito for her to eat after work, and I got myself a bowl of ramen (with an extra soy egg, as usual, because soy-marinated eggs are SO GOOD.) Monday A friend treated me to tacos, and Zoe ate her leftover burrito. Friday We have leftovers from last night, so we’ll probably eat those up tonight.

It’s usually sandwiches or tacos with me!) I got a bowl of ramen (with an extra soy-marinated egg, thank you very much) and Zoe got a sushi burrito. She IS allergic to shellfish, but happily, the sushi burrito has only fish products in it, not shell fish. Zoe fended for herself. ? so we worked on those.

The Frugal Girl

A friend had brought me some marinated thin fajita meat, so I used that to make tacos, which we ate with applesauce and chips. Monday We had burrito bowls with leftover meat from the one friend, and leftover beans and rice from the enchilada meal from another friend. ? The applesauce and chips are separate, please know.

Zoe had a burrito, I had a chimichanga. Wednesday We had beef tacos in corn tortillas, with Lisey’s boyfriend’s family. Thursday Leftover tacos. Sunday Lisey’s boyfriend’s mom made dinner for us: chicken plus rice and beans. And afterward we all got froyo together. Monday A rainy, rainy day!

Monday: Tacos. I browned 2 lbs of turkey and used my homemade taco seasoning. My plan was to put half of the seasoned taco meat in the freezer, but the kids liked the tacos so much that ate them throughout the week for their afternoon snacks. Wednesday : Burrito Bowls –my daughters request.

Sunday: I am becoming better at putting leftovers in the freezer if we are not going to eat them in time before they go bad. Monday: Turkey Tacos. I browned 2 pounds of ground turkey, added my homemade taco seasoning , 2/3 cup water, and a can of drained and rinsed black beans. I LOVE taco night.
