This week, I am thankful: for kind people who let us borrow space heaters I already had one from my Buy Nothing group, but I also got to borrow one from my landlord and two from neighbors. Anyway…I’m gonna find the good in a not-that-fantastic situation. So, hey, at least these firefighters got to learn something new!

Since water and snow falls from the sky for free, my landlord made it so that after it lands on the roof it then runs down some pipes into the ground, providing more than enough to water the trees and plants without using any municipal water.

Not everyone is cut out to be a landlord or landlady. Condo owners, such as myself, can also add their share of the cost of any improvements to the complex that they had to help buy. However, we have not been able to claim that loss due to the overly complex and landlord unfriendly income tax laws we now have.

But I am not buying all new blouses for Fall, not in Dallas. They don’t seem to want to give in to being comfortable. My landlord is not big on raking them and to be honest I don’t so much care. Right now it’s in the 50s in the morning and after the sun sets. Whoop-a-dee-do. Am I right? Not that big of a deal.
